仔仔:

Hello,my name is Daniel Xiang.i am a python-plugin developer, recently,i had a question during my writing an object-plugin.i don't know how to determine whether two polygon-objects collides to each other,i searched in the documention but did't find any function which is capable to do this.i tried to write one my self but can't figure out any solution. Can you help me with this?(if Aand B has intersections, the function will return Ture,if not,it will return False. If A inside B(or B inside A),they will be regarded as NOT having any intersection).

MAXON:

in the C++ API the class GeColliderEngine is available to perform such collisions. Currently this class is not available in Python; only GeRayCollider can be used.Collisions are a complex topic. The most simple way would be to use bounding spheres where the collision check is trivial. The collision of complex polygon objects is no simple task and may require an experienced programmer to do this efficiently.
